    mCherry-Alpaca-Biotin Anti-mCherry tag Alpaca Nanobody(VHH) Conjugated Biotin is designed for detecting mCherry tag fusion proteins specifically. mCherry-Alpaca-Biotin Anti-mCherry tag Alpaca Nanobody(VHH) Conjugated Biotin is recombinant alpaca nanobody conjugated biotin. It detects the mCherry tag selectively, no reactivity with other proteins.

    mCherry is an engineered derivative of one of a family of proteins originally isolated from Cnidarians (jelly fish, sea anemones and corals). The mCherry protein was derived from DsRed, a red fluorescent protein from so-called disc corals of the genus Discosoma.

    mCherry-Alpaca-Biotin™ Anti-mCherry tag Alpaca Nanobody(VHH) Conjugated Biotin 
    Reactivity
    Detect transfected mCherry tag fusion proteins expressed in E. coli, yeast, insect cell, mammalian cell, or in vitro transcription/translation systems. All systems that express mCherry tag fusion protein are suitable.
    Tested applications
    It can be coupled with streptavidin, or streptavidin-HRP,  or streptavidin-fluoresent dye, or streptavidin-beads.
     
    Applications for which the Streptavidin-biotin interaction is used include:
     
    Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
    Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
    Western, Northern and Southern blotting
    Immunoprecipitation
    Cell surface labeling
    Affinity purification
    Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS)
    Electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSA)
     
    Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
